Anthony R. Pupo, 86 of State College, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center. Tony was born in Marion Heights, PA on August 5, 1935, the sixth of eight children of Felix and Julia (Bressi) Pupo.
He is survived by his wife, Marlyn Norris Pupo, whom he married on December 15, 1961. Surviving is his daughter, Jennie Pupo Symonds of Burnham; and son; Nick Pupo and wife Mary of Amagansett, NY. Also surviving are his “Best Buddy,” his Granddaughter, Stefanie Rhodes, her husband, and two great-grandsons, Brennyn and Braedan.
Tony was a US Army veteran, and proudly served in the Pennsylvania State Police for 36 years, retiring as the Commander of the Lewistown Barracks in 1995.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
