Barbara Kline

Barbara A. Kline, 74, of Coalport, passed away on Thursday April 16, 2024.

She was born on August 26, 1949 in Thompsontown, the daughter of the late Ray and Edna (Toner) Brink.

She married the late Jerry Kline Sr in Winchester Virginia in 1966. She is survived by three daughters Debbie (Mark) Humbert, Julie (Ron) Sulosky, Kathie (Michael) Mulhollen, and one son Jerry Kline Jr, and wife Melissa. Barbara was survived by one grandson Zack. She is survived by four brothers Lynn (Merle) Brink, Gary (Dorthy) Brink, Doug (June) Brink, a sister Patty Gillette-Yurcisin, and brother Mike (Christina)Brink.

In addition to her parents, and husband she was proceeded in death by her son-in-law Michael Mulhollen, which they had an extremely close bonding relationship.

She is also survived by her best friend Gloria Arkwright, whom they met at the Glen Hope United Methodist Church where they both attended many years together.

Barbara also is survived by two step grandkids and six step great grandkids that called her “Grammie Barb” she loved them all dearly. She is also survived by many aunts and cousins.

Barbara enjoyed going to Bible Study with Gloria, attending church, doing crafts and socializing at the Coalport Senior Center. She enjoyed baking, Barbara, will be greatly missed and loved by so many.

Barbara always had a smile and would talk to anyone. She spent 13 years on Kidney Dialysis, and was recently interviewed for a news magazine, describing the journey she had traveled throughout those 13 years.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at the United Methodist Church of Glen Hope at 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations, in memory of Barb, can be made to the United Methodist Church of Glen Hope.
