Dianna Kay Rockey August 2, 1953 September 8, 2018 Dianna Kay Rockey, age 65, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. She was born on August 2, 1953, in Bellefonte. Graduated from Bellefonte Area High School class of 1971. She retired from Mount NIttany Medical Center after 35 years of service. Dianna is survived by two children Jessica Deyarmin (Robert), from Schellsburg, and Shawna Rockey (Cameron Snook), from Bellefonte. She is also survived by four granddaughters, Kylie Crock, Larissa Tressler, Annalese Snook and Brynlyn Snook and one great granddaughter, Allie Carpenter, all of Bellefonte. She is also survived by former husband, life-long friend, Bernie Rockey; and her furry companion, Benji. Dianna also survives her bother, Ray (Jerry) Dunkle, Jr. (Patricia); and niece and nephew Jennifer Houser and Dwayne Dunkle. She is predeceased by her parents Ray Dunkle and Mary Louise Grafmyer Dunkle. Dianna was avid dog lover. She enjoyed training, showing, and simply just adoring her furry companions as she has had many over the years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a life long church member of the Buffalo Run United Methodist Church and Dodge City Mini's group. She was well-known on Dodge City to write comical stories from Benji's point of view which were enjoyed by all. She developed many friendships through her passion for dogs. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, and going out to dinner with close friends. A service is available for family members and friends on Friday September 14, 2018, at the Buffalo Run United Methodist Church at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Calvin Miller officiating at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
