Frances Jean Oswalt Rauch 65 of Hyde passed away July 27th 2022 at UPMC Altoona.
Born October 23rd 1956 in Schenectady, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harold Oswalt and Mary Smith.
On January 29, 1977, she wed William Rauch who survives at home. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, William Rauch of Hyde and Eric Rauch and wife Melissa of Frenchville; four sisters, Barbara Gardner and husband Bill of Clearfield, Debra McDonald of LaJose, Kathy Bauman and husband Shane of Olanta, Terry English and husband Bob of Morrisdale; two brothers, Preston Oswalt of Philipsburg and Harold Oswalt of Philipsburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Sandra Emigh and Edna Maines; and one brother Daniel Oswalt.
Mrs. Rauch was a homemaker who enjoyed feeding the neighborhood kids and sewing. She loved her kitties and would often feed the neighborhood strays.
At her request there will be no services.
PA Simple Cremation is assisting the family with arrangements.
