James Lee Stover , 69, of Clearfield died on Friday, December 25, 2020 at the UPMC Hamot, Erie.
He was born on February 20, 1951 in Philipsburg, a son of the late Bernard and Margaret (Palinkas) Stover.
James enjoyed walking trails with his two dogs, Lucy and Sonny, shopping, watching his favorite football team, The Pittsburgh Steelers, and working in his garage.
He was Catholic by faith.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer L. Stover and fiancé Brian Gallaher of Irvona, his daughter, Michelle R. Hallstrom and husband Laun of Dubois, and his son, James L. Stover, Jr. and wife Nicole of Woodland. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Additionally, he is survived by his brother, Richard Stover and spouse Christine of Muncy, along with 3 nieces and 2 nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Seth Gallaher.
Honoring Mr. Stover's wishes, there will be no public services.
Donations/memorials may be given to Area Agency on Aging Meals on Wheels Program.
