Joan Louise Carlini, 84, of Brockway, PA, passed away peacefully Friday, July 22, 2022, at her home with her family by her side.
She was born on April 24, 1938 in DuBois, a daughter of the late George and Sadie Ealene (Miller) McCauslin.
Joan graduated from Sandy Township High School. She worked for many years at the Rocky Grill as a cook.
She loved going to the casinos with her sister Shirley. Some of Gramma's favorite things to do included sitting outside with family and taking care of her beautiful flowers. Her grandchildren meant the world to her and she spent many hours sharing special moments with each of them and making sure to attend every event they were involved with.
Joan and her husband George were married on August 5, 1961, and would have celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary this year.
She is survived by her husband, George Michael Carlini; sons David (Carol) Carlini from McEllhatten, PA; Daniel Carlini from Brockway, PA; daughters Diane (Kevin) Snell; Jill (Bradley) Smith both of Brockway.
Grandchildren include Troy and Corey Snell; Macie and Mallory Smith and Madison Carlini.
In addition to her parents, she was preceeded in death by her sister Shirley Wilcox; brother Edward McCauslin and infant sister.
Funeral services will be held at the St. Tobias Catholic Church, Brockway on Thursday at 11:00 AM with Rev. John J. Detisch officiating. Interment will follow in the Beechwoods Cemetery, Falls Creek.
Memorial donations may be made to the Hahne Cancer Center Dubois, PA.
