Karl unexpectedly passed away on November 15 , 2024 at his home in Altoona Pennsylvania. He was 61. He was a beloved son, brother & uncle. He was born in Stuttgart Arkansas on February 27, 1963.

He was raised in Overland Park, Kansas where he attended local schools, graduating from Shawnee Mission North in 1981. From there he continued his education at Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas. He graduated with a degree in Heavy Machinery Management.

He worked his way up to Senior Lab Tech in the testing lab, working on the durability of new products, and finding out why other products failed, at times.
