Kristen Shrubb

Kristen Kimberly (Cole) Shrubb, 54, died on the 5th of April 2023, at her home in St. Mary's, PA after a fierce battle with long term serious illness. Her funeral services will be held in Bradford at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on 15th of April 2023 at 2pm.

Kristy, born on October 20,1968, in North Hornell, NY, was the third child born of Barbara A. Cole (predeceased July 2, 1998) and Robert C. Cole. On June 2, 1990 she married Donald M. Shrubb. She was his faithful wife and best friend for 32 years. Along with her husband and two fur babies - Latté and Scotty, she is survived by her siblings Kevin Cole of San Diego, CA, Kelly (Annette) Cole of Colmberg, Germany, Kendra Cole Cain of Ridgeway, PA, and Katrina (London) Cole-Harris of Buffalo, N.Y. She also loved her 17 nieces and nephews and 5 great nieces and nephews.

She served as a Full Time Minister for12 years in Olean NY, Salamanca NY, Emporium PA, Kane PA, and Kersy PA. She also served two years at the World Headquarters of Jehovah's Witnesses in Walkill NY.

Friends were amazed at her sense of style and gift for decorating. She was known for her good advice, deep genuine concern for others, generosity, kindness, and supportive nature. Although being in constant pain for decades, she never complained. She feared being a burden in any way to anyone.

Kristy will be deeply and sadly missed until we see our dear sister in Paradise again.
