Roy Eugene Lingenfelter, 60, of Duncansville passed away Monday at UPMC Altoona after a brief illness.
Roy was born in Altoona, son of the late George and Doris (Settle) Lingenfelter. Roy is survived by his 4 brothers, Charles (Sherry) , Victor (Carolyn), George Jr, and Dale (Deanna) Lingenfelter. He is survived by 6 nieces and 2 nephews, and one great niece and nephew. Roy is also survived by the love of his life, Barbara McKinney, and her 3 sons, Roy's very dear friends, Ronald, Brendan, and Lauren McKinney.
Roy was preceded in death by his father, mother, as well as a niece, Victoria Lingenfelter, and friend Christian McKinney.
Roy was a 1978 graduate of Penn Cambria High School.
After graduation he served in the military, before becoming a welder and pipe fitter.
Roy was a soft spoken gentle soul and will be missed by all who loved him.
A memorial service will be held at a future date.
