Sally Marie (Morrison) Haney, 70, of Clearfield, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at the UPMC Altoona Hospital. Born July 2, 1952 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Everett L. and Dorothy G. (Witherite) Morrison.

Sally was a 1971 graduate of Harmony Area High School in Westover, Pennsylvania. She subsequently worked in the garment industry in Coalport for over 25 years. Sally was a very gifted seamstress, and often made beautiful custom-made clothes and various other items for family and friends. Additionally, she owned and operated Sally’s Sewing Service in Woodland and was later employed by several cleaning companies.

On June 5, 1999, she wed the love of her life, Terry E. Haney in Clearfield.

She is survived by her brother James Morrison and his wife Shirley of Lockport, New York, her beloved niece, Teresa (Terri) Rhoades, her husband Scott and grand-niece Megan Rhoades of Lockport, New York and nephews Mark and Joseph Tankavich of Texas.

Inseparable for the past 23 years, she was preceded in death by her husband Terry, on November 27, 2022.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a step-mother, Leona (McGarvey) Morrison, a sister, Sarah Belle Tankavich, her paternal grandparents, Edwin and Annabelle (Wagner) Morrison and maternal grandparents, Edward and Laura (Curry) Witherite.

Sally was a loving and very kind hearted person. Over the years, Sally took care of her father, mother, step-mother, and Terry. She loved cooking, sewing and crafting things for family and friends, along with assembling puzzles.

Arrangements have been entrusted to PA Simple Cremation of Clearfield, PA. At Sally’s request, there will be no services.
