William C. Cupples, 70,of Clearfield died on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at his home.
He was born on February 5, 1947 in Clearfield, a son of the late William H. and Mary Jane (Long) Cupples.
Mr. Cupples had been previously employed as an Aircraft Mechanic, working for companies around the world. He had attended the Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, OK and also served with the US Air Force from 1965-1969 as a Jet Engine Mechanic. Bill was also a member of the Clearfield VFW and Clearfield American Legion and a lifetime member of the Clearfield History Society.
He is survived by his three sisters, Barbara Dixon Ogden of Clearfield, Linda Harvey and her husband Marshall of Clearfield and Janie Mohney Sliver of Warren, OH.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Barry L. Cupples.
At the request of Mr. Cupples, there will be no services held.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 275 21st Street, Clearfield.
